Privacy Policy

Effective October 21, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Treasurer Pte. Ltd. ("Treasurer", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information across three things we offer: the treasurer.net website, AlphaLenz, and Core.

They work differently. The website and AlphaLenz are run by us, so we are responsible for the personal information they collect. Core runs on hardware your firm owns: what you put into it stays on that machine and under your firm’s control, and we do not receive it.

The Treazer app has its own Privacy Policy at https://www.treazer.com/privacy.

1. The treasurer.net website

When you visit treasurer.net or ask us for a demo, we collect the following.

  • Demo requests: your first and last name, work email, firm, type of firm and role, and your agreement to this Policy. We use them to reply, arrange a demo and follow up about Core.
  • Messages you send us: if you write to us by email, your address and what you write.
  • Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, the page you came from, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type. We collect it through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
  • Session replay: Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used (scrolling, clicks, mouse movement) so we can find what is confusing.
  • Advertising measurement: LinkedIn’s Insight Tag tells LinkedIn which pages you visit and when you request a demo, so we can measure our LinkedIn ads and show them to people who have visited treasurer.net. If you arrive from an ad, the site keeps the campaign name and LinkedIn’s click identifier in your browser and adds them to your demo request, so we know which ad brought you.
  • Server logs: your IP address, the address requested and the time, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

2. AlphaLenz

AlphaLenz (alpha-lenz.com and its apps) is our market intelligence service: AI agents that answer questions about markets, companies and assets. When you use it, we collect the following.

  • Account: your email address, name and sign-in provider (Google, Apple, or Toss when you open AlphaLenz inside Toss), language and the country we infer from your connection or language. If you answer the investment profile questions, we store your answers.
  • Chats: your questions, the answers, files you attach (images and PDFs) and the history of each conversation. If you chat before signing in, we keep the conversation under a random identifier and attach it to your account when you sign in. AlphaLenz remembers the tickers you ask about most, to make later answers more relevant.
  • Your workspace: portfolios, saved views, strategies, projects and API keys you create.
  • Payments: if you subscribe, Stripe processes your card. We receive your email, plan and payment status, never your full card number.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser and device, pages and features used, and the page you came from, in our access logs and through Google Analytics.
  • Applications and programmes: if you apply to a programme, competition or creator scheme, the details on the form (such as name, email, phone number, occupation and affiliation). For trading competitions in Korea, identity verification is done through NICE, and the result is shared with DB Securities to open your competition account; we keep only the result and the identifier they return.
  • Messages you send us through a contact form, by email or through our Telegram bot.

3. How AlphaLenz uses AI models and other services

  • AI models: to answer you, your question, recent messages in the conversation, attachments and the data the agents retrieve are sent to an AI model provider: Google (Gemini) by default, and OpenAI or Anthropic for some features. We do not send your name or email with them.
  • Search: agents may send search terms built from your question to Google and Naver search.
  • Quality review: our team reviews questions and answers, together with the asker’s name and email, in our internal workspace (Slack), to find wrong answers and improve the service. New sign-ups and contact requests are shared there too.
  • Advertising measurement: on alpha-lenz.com, the Meta Pixel and the X (Twitter) pixel measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups. When you sign up, X receives your email address in hashed (scrambled) form.
  • Error monitoring: Sentry receives error reports, which can include your IP address and account identifier, and a replay of the page when an error occurs.
  • Email: we use Amazon SES to send account and service emails, and occasional emails following up on questions you asked.

4. Core

Core is installed on a machine your firm owns and operates. The documents, notes, holdings, questions and answers you put into it are stored on that machine. Your firm decides who can use it, what it connects to and how long anything is kept. We do not host your Core and do not receive its content.

Core sends no telemetry, analytics or error reports to us. Apart from the relay described below, it contacts us only when your administrator checks for or installs an update, which tells us the version installed and the address it connects from.

If your firm reaches Core from outside its office through our relay, the relay forwards encrypted traffic to your machine without decrypting it. It sees the connection’s source address, the Core it is addressed to, the time and the volume of traffic, which we use to run and secure the relay.

Some features connect Core to third parties when your firm switches them on: a cloud AI model, market data for the tickers you hold, SEC EDGAR, websites you add, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and research portals under your firm’s own login. Each connection, what it sends and how to turn it off is listed at https://treasurer.net/security. Those providers handle that data under their own terms with your firm, or under ours where we supply the connection, as set out in your firm’s agreement.

If your firm asks us for support, we see only what your staff choose to show or send us, and we use it only to resolve the request.

For the people at your firm we deal with (names, work emails, roles), we hold business contact details to provide Core, invoice and support it.

5. How we use personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not train AI models on your content or on what you put into Core or AlphaLenz.

  • To provide, operate and support the website, AlphaLenz and Core.
  • To answer demo requests and enquiries, and to send service messages.
  • To understand how our pages and products are used, and to improve them.
  • To keep our services secure, and to detect and prevent abuse and fraud.
  • To comply with the law, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Who we share it with

  • Service providers that run parts of our services for us under contract: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and email), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), Microsoft (Clarity), LinkedIn (advertising measurement on treasurer.net), Meta and X (advertising measurement on alpha-lenz.com) and Stripe, Slack, Sentry and the AI model, search and identity providers named in sections 2 and 3.
  • Professional advisers, auditors and insurers, under a duty of confidentiality.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or Treasurer.
  • A buyer or successor, if Treasurer or part of it is merged, acquired or sold, under the protections in this Policy.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

treasurer.net uses cookies from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and LinkedIn’s Insight Tag to count visits, understand use and measure our LinkedIn ads, and your browser’s storage to remember for up to 90 days which ad brought you. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, turn off Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and opt out of LinkedIn’s ad measurement at https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out, without losing access to the site. alpha-lenz.com also uses Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and the X pixel, a cookie that remembers your language, and your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in and to hold conversations you start before signing in.

8. Where information is processed

We operate from Singapore and the Republic of Korea. AlphaLenz runs on Amazon Web Services in Seoul. Our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where information leaves the country it was collected in, we use the safeguards that law requires, such as contractual commitments. Core content does not leave your firm’s machine except through the connections your firm switches on.

9. How long we keep it

  • Demo requests and business contacts: for as long as we are in contact with you or your firm, and up to three years after that unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Website analytics: under the retention settings of Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and LinkedIn, which delete it automatically.
  • AlphaLenz account, chats and workspace: while your account is open. Conversations started without signing in that are never attached to an account are removed after 90 days.
  • AlphaLenz access logs: up to one year, for security and abuse prevention.
  • Records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons: for the period the law requires.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act, Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act and Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, to stop or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy. Write to us at the address below; we answer within the time the law allows. To delete your AlphaLenz account, use Settings in the AlphaLenz app or write to us, and we delete your account and its chats, files and workspace, except records the law requires us to keep. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

For information inside your firm’s Core, contact your firm: it controls that data, and we cannot see it.

11. Security

We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access limited to the people who need it, and monitoring for unusual access. How Core is built to keep your data on your machine is set out at https://treasurer.net/security. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires it.

12. Children

Our services are built for professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn that we have.

13. Changes to this Policy

When we change this Policy we update the effective date above, and for material changes we tell you in advance on this site, in AlphaLenz or by email.
