Terms of Service

1. The Services

We may add, change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces a paid Service, we tell you in advance.

• treasurer.net describes our products and lets you ask for a demo.
• AlphaLenz is a market intelligence service: AI agents that research markets, companies and assets and answer questions about them, on the web, in apps and through an API.
• Core is research software installed on hardware your firm owns. It reads your firm’s research and data, answers questions about it and drafts work from it.

2. Accounts

• Give accurate information and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share them, or create accounts by automated means.
• You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use AlphaLenz or Core.
• Users of Core sign in to their firm’s own installation; their firm administers those accounts.

3. Not investment advice

AlphaLenz and Core provide research, information and analysis. They are not investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, they are not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or asset, and we are not acting as your adviser or broker. Decide for yourself, and with your own advisers, before acting on anything they show you.

4. AI output

Answers, summaries, signals and drafts in AlphaLenz and Core are generated by AI models. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and can cite a source inaccurately. Check anything that matters against the source before relying on it. Core logs the model behind each answer to make that possible.

5. Market data and third-party content

Prices, filings, macro data and news in the Services come from exchanges, regulators and data vendors. We do not guarantee that they are accurate, complete or timely, and they may be delayed. Their providers’ terms may limit how you use them; in particular, do not redistribute data from the Services or use it to build a competing data product.

Core can connect to services your firm uses, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, cloud AI models and research portals. Your firm is responsible for having the right to connect them, and for complying with their terms, including the terms of any research portal accessed under your firm’s login.

6. Your content

What you put into the Services (documents, notes, questions and holdings) stays yours, and so does the output generated for you, as far as the law allows. In AlphaLenz you give us a licence to store and process your content only to run the Service for you. Core content stays on your firm’s machine, and we receive no rights to it. We do not use your content to train AI models.

You are responsible for having the right to upload and use your content, and for not putting in material you may not share, such as inside information you are not permitted to use.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law, including securities laws on market manipulation and the misuse of inside information;
• scrape, bulk download or resell the Services or their data, or use them to build a competing product;
• get around usage limits, access controls or security, or probe or test our systems without our written permission;
• reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it;
• upload malware, or use the Services to harm, harass or deceive others.

8. Fees

• AlphaLenz has a free plan with daily usage limits shown in the product, and paid plans. Prices are shown before you subscribe.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the end of the period already paid.
• Fees already paid are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund or we fail to provide the paid Service.
• Core is priced in your firm’s agreement.

9. Our intellectual property

The Services, including their software, agents, design and the Treasurer, AlphaLenz and Core names and marks, belong to Treasurer or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use them under these Terms; for Core, the scope of the licence is in your firm’s agreement. Feedback you give us we may use freely.

10. Suspension and ending

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Services or other users. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, or that any data or output is accurate.

12. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Treasurer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profits, trading or investment losses, or for loss of data, and our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for them in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. We update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in advance on this site, in AlphaLenz or by email. Using the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it.

14. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes go to the Seoul Central District Court, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise or your firm’s agreement provides differently.
